27-year-old marine biologist currently building up a portfolio based on ocean science research.
Norfolk Seals
During the past three months, I have spent a lot of my time at the beach in Norfolk observing, photographing, and filming Grey Seals (Halichoerus grypus). Grey seals give birth to their pups on the beaches during the late autumn and winter months. The last time I visited the coast, over 4000 mothers and pups were on the beach. Norfolk has one of the largest aggregations of grey seals in the world.
Next year I will be getting under under the water with these marine mammals and aim to further explore aspects of their life cycle.
All these videos were captured with a Sony A7IV with a 200-600mm ensuring no disturbance to the animals.

@@RobertSarginson It is on my shortlist but if not this time next visit will be way more pleasure diving so will probably spend a week on Gozo diving then. This next trip is mainly deep + wreck (2-3 days) and 2-3 days of pleasure/escorted dives. So very limited time.
@@RobertSarginson Conditions where not good when I went but did the reef either side of the entry for the Um El-Faroud first day and second day did the P29 and Rozi ( conditions still bad but that meant we got these busy wrecks all to ourselves ) :) last day we did the P31 and then alex's cave. Conditions by then had improved a lot. great diving and I am surprised that you ahve not had a lot more watchers for this video.
@@thorgrimb2416 That's awesome! I'm not a fan of busy dive sites. In Myanmar I didn't see any other divers. We also went to this site called Pink Canyon (around 5 times). I've tried to find it on RUclips but no one else has recorded a video there before. It's one of the most colourful sites I've ever seen. I will be uploading the footage from it in the next few weeks so keep an eye out. Thanks a lot!
